The Adapt Christopher Roma Memorial Adventure Camp is a middle school outdoor adventure camp created to honor the life, spirit, and values of Christopher Roma. This camp is rooted in the belief that time in nature, shared challenge, and positive mentorship can shape young people in powerful and lasting ways.
Designed for middle school–aged youth, the camp offers immersive, hands-on experiences in backpacking, rock climbing, paddling, and other outdoor pursuits. Through these adventures, participants are encouraged to step outside their comfort zones, build confidence, and discover their own strength and resilience.
More than just outdoor skills, the Christopher Roma Memorial Adventure Camp emphasizes teamwork, perseverance, leadership, and respect for self, others, and the natural world. Each activity is intentionally structured to promote personal growth, reflection, and positive peer connections in a safe and supportive environment.
This camp serves as a living tribute to Christopher Roma’s legacy—celebrating adventure, kindness, and the belief that every young person deserves opportunities to grow, belong, and thrive. By investing in youth through meaningful outdoor experiences, the camp honors Christopher’s memory by inspiring the next generation to face challenges with courage and curiosity.
